  • Vince Kame, Jr., PT, MS, ATC

    Vince has over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist. He completed his first degree in Health Science and Athletic Care in 1986 from the University of Buffalo then went on to get his Masters in Exercise Physiology in 1988 followed by a BS in Physical Therapy in 1991. As a graduate assistant, Vince worked as an athletic trainer for the University of Buffalo Athletic Department as well as the Physiology Department performing pre and post season testing on athletes. In Phoenix, Vince has worked with elite, professional, and Olympic athletes. His philosophy is hands-on, one on one care designed to return the individual to the activities they enjoy. His extensive experience in physical therapy gives him a unique ability to diagnose and treat patients with the utmost accuracy and care. Vince is married and he enjoys biking, running, golf and cooking. He comments that his favorite TV stations are ESPN and Food TV!

  • Amy Novotny, PT, DPT

    Amy grew up in the Phoenix area and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French at Arizona State University in 2004.  She then moved to Delaware where she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware in 2008 but returned to Arizona to begin her career.  She has studied abroad in France and has worked as an interpreter for Spanish speakers in a therapy setting, allowing her to assist patient in multiple languages.  Amy’s goal for her patients is to guide them in the rehabilitation process and help them achieve their prior level of activity and goals while working within their lifestyle and culture.  Amy enjoys the outdoors and recreational sports, but her passions are tennis, hiking and playing with her dogs.

  • Lynsey Schmidt, PT, DPT

    Lynsey has over seven years working in out-patient physical therapy. Lynsey was educated at the University of North Dakota earning BS and MS degrees in Physical Therapy in 2000 and 2001. She then went on and completed her Doctorate in 2007. Lynsey has served in various capacities in clinics in Oregon and Arizona. Her treatment philosophy is to deliver creative therapy that combines strong communication and motivation to a hands-on approach designed to return the patient to pre-injury status. This dedication is demonstrated by Lynsey becoming ASTYM certified in 2008. This technique, along with her other varied skills, allows Lynsey to offer patients a well-rounded and balanced approach to individualized care.

    Dustin Buck, PT, DPT, ATC

    Dustin received his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. He continued his education at the University of Florida graduating with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to his employment at Foothills, Dustin worked at Rexburg Rehabilitation in Rexburg, Idaho. Dustin has always enjoyed sports, fitness and learning about the human body; Physical Therapy was the perfect career to develop those interests. Dustin has done many things to enhance his career including certification as an Athletic Trainer, and hopes to one day become Orthopedic or Sports Certified by APTA. In addition to his skills as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, Dustin is fluent in Korean and has spent much time traveling abroad. Dustin currently resides in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Kristen. His hobbies include golfing and working out, but he also enjoys movies and TV for entertainment.

    Kamoni Cooper, PT, DPT

    Kamoni was raised in the heartland of Nebraska and moved to the valley to earn his Bachelorette Degree in Exercise Physiology and Wellness from Arizona State University.  After studying abroad in Costa Rica, Kamoni completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University.  He has been a part of the Foothills Sports Medicine family in various roles for over 5 years from a sports conditioning specialist to physical therapist.  As a former collegiate athlete, Kamoni is dedicated to treating young athletes with a personalized, hands-on approach for rapid return to sport.  Kamoni is expanding his already extensive knowledge in orthopedic injuries by continuing his education on the foot and ankle complex and orthotics.  In his free time, Kamoni enjoys coaching his sons various sporting events and snowboarding with friends.
