 Anna Thatcher, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS Physical Therapist Biltmore Anna is originally from Roseville, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training (2001) and Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy (2003). She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (2007). Anna is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. She has worked as a physical therapist in orthopedic/sports medicine clinics since moving to Arizona in 2004.
Anna also provides athletic training services at various high school, college, community, and gymnastic events. Anna has co-authored textbook chapters on shoulder rehabilitation, elbow injuries, and lower extremity injury prevention/rehabilitation. Her continuing education has focused on knee and shoulder rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, pediatric sports medicine, and female athletes. A former gymnast for 15 years, Anna now enjoys running and hiking.
