Mariah graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and then continued her education at A.T. Still University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006.
Before joining the Foothills team, Mariah lived and worked in Italy for 2 years as a physical therapist for the United States Air Force.
Mariah emphasizes hands-on treatment and manual therapy in patient interactions in order to deliver the best possible patient care. She believes it is important to offer a balance of compassion and motivation with patients to address the mind-body connection in achieving optimal rehabilitation results. Mariah implements functional exercise specific to patients' activities to promote specificity of training.
Mariah has a background in gymnastics for which she coached for 10 years; both competitive and recreational. Currently she stays busy with a husband and 2 children and enjoys snowboarding whenever possible!
