Angela Lloyd, PT, DPT, COMT
Physical Therapist
Litchfield Park

Angela is originally from Michigan where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Lake Superior State University. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2006 at the University of Minnesota. With a desire to gain advanced skill in “hands-on” treatment and functional exercise progression, Angela continued her training through the Ola Grimsby Institute earning her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in 2007. Her experience is comprised of orthopedics, post-surgical care, adult neuro rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and geriatrics. Angela believes manual techniques, activity-specific exercises, and education are crucial components to the rehab process and are integral in return to desired level of function.
Prior to moving to Arizona, Angela lived in the mountains of Colorado where she embraced the opportunity to work closely with local orthopedic surgeons in providing quality and continuity of care for each patient. She also assisted in completing physicals for the Aspen Ski Company and volunteered her time at the local middle school lecturing and providing lab opportunities for students in the health career track. Angela’s commitment to health and wellness is evident in her personal life where she has competed in 4 marathons, qualifying for Boston. She is an avid hiker, participates in various team sports, and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephew.
