Blas is a licensed physical therapist, and certified athletic trainer who specializes in orthopedic injury rehabilitation and sports medicine.
Blas has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine at New Mexico State University. He continued his post graduate education at the University of New Mexico earning his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Soon after his Masters degree, Blas continued his education at the Arizona School of Health Sciences earning a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
Blas has provided sports medicine rehabilitation and athletic training to professional teams, such as the Pittsburg Pirates and Tampa Bay Rays over several seasons, during that time he became a specialist in the evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries.
He continues to provide sports medicine healthcare to both the Winter ESPN X-Games and Summer ESPN X-Games which he has been affiliated with since 2004.
Certifications include: Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization, Active Release Techniques, and Strength & Conditioning Specialist
